He previously worked with a range of nonprofit and public sector organizations, where he focused on inclusive program design and stakeholder engagement. Diego holds a Master's in Public Affairs and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
When he's not championing community causes, Diego enjoys urban gardening, volunteering at the local arts center, and trying to keep his sourdough starter alive.
Fun Fact: Diego once organized a block party that made it onto the evening news—complete with a flash mob and a 12-foot inflatable flamingo.
